Note the label's 1/16" wide 'deep groove' is identical to color vinyl "OLDIES" Volume 1 reissues!  One
can reasonably assume that it is a transitional record or "mule" produced with leftover label stock but
utilizing new metal stampers plated from the original production mother;  Apparently, when record pro-
duction and distribution changed hands (beginning with Volume 4) the old stamper configuration was
unuseable at the new pressing location.  While the matrix (G&C 126-A, G&C 126-B) and label are
identical to the original stamper this record was mated with a reissued "portrait" cover.  Weight: 181g
